Lettuce – Cherokee (SC) – Fresh Produce

Darkest red leaves and a long harvest window.

Thick, crisp, dark red leaves with good flavor. Similar appearance to Magenta except much darker red color, though not quite as sweet. Very slow bolting with excellent tolerance to heat and bottom rot. High resistance to downy mildew races EU 16, 21, 23, 32; US 5–6. MT0-30.

Providing fresh Cherokee Lettuce. This is fresh produce and not seedlings. Fresh Produce is only available for local pickup at True Garden’s farm in Mesa, Arizona. If you are located outside of Arizona, this product isn’t available for you. Our fresh produce is grown in Coco Coir, which is a 100% certified organic growing medium made from coconut husks.
